Would you like more competitive play? More opportunities to socialize with friends? Then play in one of tournaments!  They are loads of fun!

Can't play this year?  Then volunteer to work it! There are lots of little and big jobs, and lots more social time!

    All SAPC Tournaments

    • use Pickleball Brackets for registration, play and score management, and results posting
    • are played at Alpine Pickleball Courts

    For any particular tournament, see its tournament policies by following a link above to the Pickleball Brackets tournament webpage. These policies are in addition to those specified below, and may supersede some rules below.

    SAPC Members Only Tournaments

    • Must be a member of SAPC. Join at www.pickleballstalbert.ca
    • Then get a profile on Pickleball Brackets, if you don't already have one
    • Join SAPC on Pickleball Brackets if you haven't done that this year. (Note this is a separate step from those above, and it is essential.)
    • Then register for the tournament on Pickleball Brackets
    • Must register at your club rating or tournament rating, whichever is higher
      • If you don't have an SAPC club rating or tournament rating, contact the tournament organizers via the tournament webpage for proper placement

    SAPC Sanctioned Tournament (Pickle Party)

    • Open to all members of Pickleball Canada. Join at www.pickleballcanada.org.
    • Then get a profile on Pickleball Brackets if you don't already have one
    • Then register for this tournament
    • Must register at your Pickleball Canada Tournament Player Rating (CTPR) level.
      • If you don't have a CTPR, you can self-rate yourself to start with. Do so by entering your information online at PickleballBrackets.com. It is important that you make an accurate assumption of your skill level as your CTPR cannot be further changed by you after playing in a sanctioned tournament.       What is a sanctioned tournament?

      • Is approved by Pickleball Canada
      • Follows all the Pickleball Canada rules for sanctioned tournaments
      • Uses certified referrees
      • Your play performance in a sanctioned tournament will be recorded for, and will affect, your Canadian Tournament Player Rating
